Dr. Mortonette Stephens
Mortonette, a classically trained violinist turned acclaimed vocalist, began her music career early, landing a recording contract at fifteen. She became a lead singer for Quincy Jones, contributing to Off the Wall and mentoring 95 students weekly in his vocal workshop. Her extensive career includes global tours with Elton John, Linda Ronstadt, and Paul Anka, and collaborations with icons like Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, and Eric Clapton. She starred in Roots and toured Europe with Linda Hopkins’ Wild Women Blues.
Beyond music, Mortonette is an author, speaker, reflexologist, and creator of “Thought Tools”—spiritual gifts and teachings. Her concerts and books inspire transformation, supported by her late husband, physicist Dr. Lee Stephens.
