Who Would I Be If I Already Had My Dreams?

I’m currently taking a course with Jim Fortin called Be Do Have, and it’s been a game-changer. One of the most powerful questions he asks is:

Who would I be, how would I feel, and what would I do if I already had __________?

Go ahead—fill in the blank. What is that thing you desire most? The dream that tugs at your soul, the life you long to step into?

Its an intriguing question, and it stirs up so much more than just a dreamy vision of the future. Its an opportunity to examine whats really standing between me and my desires.

When I sit with this question, I notice resistance creeping in. A part of me hesitates to write it down, let alone share it with the group. What if I get called out? What if my own words expose just how limiting my beliefs about myself still are?

But I also know this: Growth happens when we shine a light on those limiting beliefs. The things we hide from ourselves are often the very things keeping us stuck.

So, I fill out the paperwork. I submit it. I lean into the coaching, even when its uncomfortable. Because I am committed to my dreams. I refuse to let fear dictate my future.

And now, I challenge you: Dream your dreams. Meditate on this question.

Who would you be if you already had everything you desired? How would you feel? What would you do?

The answers might just change your life.
